Introduction to Green Marketing

The growth in the LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability) consumer market has created a lucrative opportunity for truly sustainable products and services to be marketed to a valuable and growing market segment. However the rush by many companies to 'green wash' their products and services has created a level of consumer scepticism that can potentially undermine legitimate environmental claims in advertising.

Nevertheless, with the right approach, genuinely sustainable companies, products and services can still communicate successfully with sustainability-conscious consumers and build long-term brand value.

Change2's Introduction to Green Marketing is an online module designed for a range of audiences, including:

On the 16th of June, in Conjunction with 3 Pillars Network 'Green Brands Forum', Change2 will host a Green Marketing Accelerated e-Learning Program. The program will combine Change2's Introduction to Green Marketing online course with a face to face interactive workshop that will be facilitated by Change2 and Net Balance.

Prior to attending the workshop participants will be given access to two online sustainability modules. The Real Cost, which looks at everyday purchasing decisions, and Introduction to Green Marketing. The participants will attend a 'world cafe' style workshop - an intimate discussion to enhance the delegate's knowledge and practical understanding of effective green marketing, which will enable people to identify legitimate green claims and to create their own effective green marketing plan.
